Sela out, Schwartzman through at Australian Open

Dudi Sela will slip out of the top 100 following his first-round defeat at the Australian Open.

Sela lost a five-set thriller against American Ryan Harrison in a bad-tempered contest lasting three hours and 30 minutes match marred.

Diego Schwartzman of Argentina, seeded 24 in the Men’s Singles, came through another five-set marathon, beating Dusan Lajovic of Serbia 11-9 in the decider.
