Mitch Young believes Maccabi London Lions B have a bright future after watching his FC Team B move into the next round of the Peter Morrison Trophy following a 3-1 success.
RICHARD SALMON was the match-winner as Team progressed with his hat-trick ending MLL's involvement in the cup competitions this season.
MLL's goal came through Charlie Reuben.
Team boss Mitch Young told JC Sport: "I am extremely pleased with the performance and the result. We were well organised disciplined and very effective in our attacking play.
"I knew we would be up against a talented side who would have spells of possession, but in truth they had one shot all game and after we scored we never particularly looked threatened.
"Lions could not deal with Salmon who had an excellent game and we knew his physicality and pace would cause them all sort of problems and that is how it transgressed.
"We want to go as far as we can in the competition and we are looking forward to the next round. Good luck to Lions they are a good young side."
Lions boss Samuel Marchant told JC Sport: "We simply weren't at our best today. Having two of our starting XI get injured within the first two minutes of the game also didn't help. The opposition didn't cause us too many problems but we conceded three extremely sloppy goals.
"We knew this tie was always going to be tough but we made it hard for ourselves today. Hopefully next week we can react, and we're scheduled to be on the same pitch, away to FC Team C, so we can rid ourselves of this week's demons and keep marching on in the league."
