DANNY CARO'S GOAL OF THE WEEK
WINNER: - ELLIOTT STERN (Harmen) - picked up the ball on the right wing just past the halfway line, turned five defenders inside out with a George Best-esque run before putting it past the keeper
Runner-up: GAB SAUL (Hendon B) - managed to score from the acutest of angles with the outside of his boot, squeezing the ball between keeper and far post from 18 yards out
3.MARC HYAMSON (Oakwood B) - a lovely strike against Raiders B
-----------------------------
-----------------------------
DANNY CARO'S SAVE OF THE WEEK
WINNER: - DAN KOSKY (Faithfold C) - made an absolutely fantastic save from Temple Fortune's only shot on target, pushing the shot up on to the bar and over, at full stretch
Runner-up: YEHUDA FINK (Hendon B) - kept Real from doubling their lead with an outstanding one-handed save, preventing the ball from slotting into the top corner and it turned out to be a pivotal moment in the match
- WILL MARTYN (Boca Jewniors) - dived low to his right, stretched out his right palm to somehow keep out a low in-swinging free-kick
- ADAM ZAIDMAN (FC Team A) - SAVE 1 - Rob Hershkorn, from the top left-hand corner of the box, curled a shot towards the top right, only for Zaidman to get there and push it over at full-stretch, incredible
- ADAM ZAIDMAN (FC Team A) - SAVE 2 - magnificent double save at the start of the second half, in the box from a one on one, and then quickly up to block the follow up. "We may not be playing well, but Adam Zaidman is master class!"

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
1. WILL CASTLE (Camden Park) - "This was our first real test since we got thrashed by Hendon and we passed with flying colours. Harmen next week will be even harder so we need to work hard this week on the training ground and make sure we are fully prepared"
2. DAN SHAFRON (Real Sosobad) - "Credit to the opposition, they didn't make it easy, pressed us well and had a couple of useful players, but overall we had too much quality and the win was fairly straightforward"
3. SIMON LINDEN (Blizzard Storm) - "Harmen must have thought they won the lottery. I had 12 players out, changed goalkeeper three times, played myself at right-back and finished the game with 10 men"
4. ROB RICHMAN (NL Raiders A) - "Astonishingly, Alex Bloch has played for us for eight seasons and it's taken him just under 100 games to grab his first goal for the club. I suppose it's not surprising then that having waited so long for the first, his second came just 30 minutes later!"

YOUR WEEKEND PREVIEW STARTS HERE:
SUNDAY FA CHALLENGE CUP ROUND ONE
HENDON HIT FOR SIX
NEW SALAMIS 6 HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A 0
Hendon United finally met their match as they were hit for six by New Salamis in Cheshunt.
Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "We turned up against a team who have won this competition before and are one of the top teams in the country with a totally decimated squad having had three more pull-outs over the weekend and we were made to pay dearly.
"We also lost three more to injuries as the game went on and finished the match with barely eight or nine fit men. I’ve never known an injury crisis like this before and it is starting to hurt us.
"For 60 minutes we competed well and were only 1-0 down and well in it but in truth once they scored their second and we were forced to bring players off with no substitutes, our heads dropped and we were well over run in the last 20 minutes.
"Once again we exit this competition wondering what might have been with a little bit more commitment from the squad but once we banish this one from the minds we will be able to get back to the serious business of Premier league football with a massive trip to Redbridge on Sunday. Three points there and this match will soon be a distant memory."
DC Prediction: New Salamis 1 Hendon 2

PETER MORRISON TROPHY ROUND ONE
RESILIENT BOCA SQUEEZE PASS HMH
BOCA JEWNIORS 2 HMH WILDCATS U18 1
Anton Nyman was among the scorers as third division strugglers Boca avoided an upset against a young HMH.
In a match dominated by HMH, according to boss Nir Wegrzyn, Boca forged ahead from their first attack after 15 minutes. HMH equalised three minutes later follow a fine free-kick from Ariel Rahamim which was headed home by Anthony Meir.
Boca restored their lead via an own goal two minutes later, and also HMH finished strongly, they were unable to force extra-time as Boca defended resiliently.
Boca scorer Anton Nyman told JC Sport: "The first 20 minutes were an odd one - we were on the back foot initially, had two attacks, two corners and scored two goals from them - and then we actually came into the game and started playing and looked good money for our win after that."
HMH boss Nir Wegrzyn told JC Sport: "The second half was a tale of missed chances as the constant pressure from HMH on BJ did not yield an equaliser. Great defending and goal keeping kept HMH at bay. C’est la vie…and as the manager of Boca said, the best team lost, but fair play to BJ for a great disciplined and defensive display."
DC Prediction: Boca 2 HMH 3

LEEDS MAKE WOODFORD PAY THE PENALTY

Leeds forged ahead on 20 minutes but Woodford bounced back a few minutes later. Kay told JC Sport: "We were the better team all through extra-time and at times we had to play against the ref, who had an absolute shocker for both teams to be fair.
Darryl Green, Alex Aviram, Martin Sales, Adam Poole and Kay all hit the target in the shoot-out for Woodford, whilst Jerome Marks, with a twice taken effort, and Paul Biller missed.
Kay told JC Sport: "It was an amazing effort from all the the lads, we left Essex at 7:30am and didn’t get home until 9:45pm. Jerome (Marks) and I are very proud of the team under the circumstances we faced."

"After throwing away winning leads in all bar one of our previous five games we were not going to make that mistake again and at 2-1 up at the break we knew we had to be strong
three quick goals helped. Credit to the Masters team, they battled till the end and scored a couple of well worked goals but we fully deserved our win."

THREE CHEERS FOR OAKWOOD
NORTH LONDON RAIDERS B 0 OAKWOOD B 3
Oakwood B won the all-first division clash thanks to goals from Marc Hyamson, Nick Harris and an own goal.
Oaks boss Jason Stein told JC Sport: "I'm delighted to record my first win over Raiders B in my third attempt. Raiders is an institution I respect immensely and while they weren’t at their strongest this week, it is never an easy game against them. And it proved that way.
"I thought we were comfortably the better side and seemed to be camped on their penalty box. But our final ball was lacking and it was a bit Arsenal at times. Once we went 1-0 ahead I did thought we’d cruise it, but the fact they hit straight back was a lesson in complacency. But we kept playing our football and snatched it late on with Marc Hymanson scoring a lovely goal.
“Four weeks ago I enjoyed one of my regular fireside chats with my chairman, mentor and idol Richard Black and he told me I would learn a lot more about my side in the next four weeks with matches against Lions B, Brady and two encounters with Raiders B. And Richard was right. Two wins and two draws later I know we are a proper force this year and we’re looking to challenge for honours.
"I'm told this is the first time Oakwood B has ever won a Morrison game so that fills me with pride."
DC Prediction: Raiders 1 Oakwood 2

DEADLY DAN SINKS BAUMS
REAL SOSOBAD 4 ATHLETIC BILBAUM 2
Dan Orgel was back on the goal trail as Real Sosobad ended Bilbaum's good run of form in a 4-2 win.
Sam McCarthy and Scott Kay sealed the tie.
Ed Green and Jacob Brunner replied for Bilbaum who although a division apart, fought well but were unable to stop Real Sosobad who were contentiously handed two penalties for handball.
Sosobad player-manager Dan Shafron told JC Sport: "I thought we played well, created plenty of chances and scored some well worked goals. Credit to the opposition, they didn't make it easy, pressed us well and had a couple of useful players, but overall we had too much quality and the win was fairly straightforward.
"It's now back to business in the league and we will use this week to prepare for the visit of Oakwood."
Bilbaum manager Nick Shinder told JC Sport: "Although a cup exit we can take lots of positives from our battling display. We are constantly improving and settling as a team and hope to take this vigor into our next league game."
DC Prediction: Sosobad 3 Bilbaum 1

Further strikes from Dan Yoss, Dave Sherman, Leor Harel, Ben Myatt and Josh Barnett completed the rout.
Faithfold boss Rob Shooman told JC Sport: "I was really happy with the performance. Temple Fortune never gave up but we had the game under control. It was all us apart from one or two chances. We led 2-0 at half-time followed by six more in the second half - the best was that we never took our foot off the peddle and worked right up to the final whistle.
