Will Castle saluted Rob Hershkorn after the in-form striker fired a deadly double to steer Camden Park to the top of the MGBSFL Premier Division.
Hershkorn capitalised on some sloppy defeat to score both goals in the 2-0 win over FC Team as Camden maintained their excellent run of form.
Camden boss Will Castle told JC Sport: "Another great performance from Camden to make it four wins from four. The whole game was a fantastic battle that we ended up edging.
"There's no stopping Rob Hershkorn at the moment as he added another brace to his impressive tally of eight for the season.
"Today's win was built on solid foundations at the back and credit to the Khalastchi brothers who were outstanding at centre back today. Jake Saunders also continued his fine form in the middle of the park. It was also very pleasing to see assistant manager Max Saunders back on the pitch instead of the sidelines.
"This was our first real test since we got thrashed by Hendon and we passed with flying colours. Harmen next week will be even harder so we need to work hard this week on the training ground and make sure we are fully prepared."
FC Team boss Ben Gilbey told JC Sport: "It was another disappointing loss and we are struggling to find a result at the moment.
"I was a lot happier with the performance this week and after hitting the bar and being denied a stonewall penalty before half-time. I was encouraged that we were going to come away with the points on Sunday.
"However, in the second half Camden played very well and Rob Hershkorn took advantage of some costly individual mistakes from FC Team. It has been individual mistakes costing us a lot this year and the boys need to pull their shorts up and cancel this out.
"It has been a poor start to the season for us and I am really disappointed, as there is a lot of talent in the team, but it is not coming through."
But there was some good news for FC Team fans. Gilbey added: "Two new signings have been made this week and I am hoping this will help turn things around for us."
