Meanwhile, in Group 2, MLFC Lions beat Temple Fortune 8-1, courtesy of goals from Michael Abraham (4), Danny Schindler (2), Pete Lazard and Danny Reuben. Gil Ashkenazy scored Fortune’s consolation.
Glenthorne and Hendon Harriers drew 1-1 with goals from Greg Morris and Danny Fenton exchanging goals.
