Jon Jacobs described Sam Sollosi as simply unstoppable after the mercurial midfielder scored three times to condemn Hendon United to back-to-back defeats.
Steve Summers was also on target as Redbridge Jewish Care became the first team to beat Hendon in Jewish football this season.
Redbridge welcomed the bookie’s favourites to Fairlop on a beautiful October morning and with a pitch fully deserving the quality that was going to be unleashed.
Redbridge came out of the blocks first and in 30 minutes, delivered a masterclass to a team that had never before been so outplayed and mesmerised.
Sollosi opened the scoring when a ricochet in the penalty box and he buried the shot low into the net having controlled the ball with his first touch.
Goal two came with an individual piece of magic. Summers received the ball about 35 yards out on the left hand side, looked up and curled the ball into the top right of the net with their keeper stationary.
Sollosi made it 3-0 with a simple finish. Hendon looked out on their feet and if Redbridge had scored again, the game could have been a cricket score but Hendon dug in and with 10 minutes left in the half, scored two well-constructed goals , executed with two bullet headers.
Redbridge were now rocking in a game they had controlled from the off and needed to slow the game down a bit with Ben Sollosi sitting a bit deeper.
With the fourth goal crucial, Redbridge came up with yet another contender for Goal of the Season with fantastic dribbling skills and futsal technical drills. Sam Sollosi completed his first half hat-trick by beating a few trailing Hendon defenders and then sent Russell Corin tumbling the wrong way in the Hendon goal as he did him with his eyes and chipped the ball over him for a goal of pure beauty.
Half=time was a chance to draw breath on a game being played at 100 miles an hour. The second half was not such an adrenaline rush as the first, Hendon looked threatening but not causing any real bother until with 15 minutes to go, Hendon scored another set piece header from a few yards out.
Brad Grant in the Redbridge goal then kept out a one-on-one with Dovi Fehler but Redbridge held firm and completed a memorable and deserved 4-3 win to send Hendon back on the North Circular empty handed.
Hendon's scorers were Dovi Fehler (2) and Avi Korman.
RJC boss Jon Jacobs told JC Sport; "You won’t see a better 30-minute performance than the one Redbridge delivered.
"Sam Sollosi was simply unstoppable and a constant menace on the ball, the Hendon players trying to mark him weren’t able to get close enough to him to kick him so a true man-of-the-match performance.
"We finally unleashed the three Sollosi brothers in midfield and they delivered a family masterclass."
Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "The game was pretty much decided in the first half hour where a combination of a brilliant Redbridge early blitz and some shocking defending by us saw them surge to a three-goal lead.
"Redbridge were sharper to every ball and quicker to every tackle and in that period we were totally outplayed.
"To our credit we came back strongly later in the half to get it back to 3-2 but another killer goal where once again we were too weak saw them regain their two-goal lead at the break.
"In the second half we were far tighter and much more compact but despite reducing the deficit to just a goal we just couldn't find the necessary quality to complete the comeback.
"For the neutral I'm sure this was a great game to watch between two teams who wanted to play football and overall they deserved the win especially for their early dominance. I was pleased with the character we showed to come back so strongly but it was unforgivable that we gave ourselves so much to do through our disastrous start.
"Good luck to Redbridge though - they may well have a team to challenge for the top trophy this year and that can only be good for Jewish football.
"We need to regroup, take a good hard look at ourselves and where we went wrong today and we must improve in a number of areas if we are to compete with them and others this year."
