Maccabi took the lead through talisman Hatton, heading home beautifully from a Jamie Green cross.

Hatton made it two soon after before Rovers grabbed a goal back midway through the first half.

But it was Hatton who responded, yet again, by completing a stunning first half hat-trick, this time heading home a Toby Levy cross from the left.

In the second half, Rovers kept pushing and won a penalty only for goalkeeper Jack Showman to be the hero and palm it to safety.
