Giorgi, who is 24 and from Italy, has it all to do against the powerful Muguruza who will be buoyed by her recent success at the French Open.
The Italian’s preparations for SW19 have been far from perfect with opening round defeats against Britain's Heather Watson in Birmingham and Timea Babos in Eastbourne.
