Frumar fires another 50 in Belmont & Edgware triumph

Dan Frumar continued his excellent debut season in England with another half century as Belmont & Edgware beat Salix by five wickets.

Tight bowling and sharp fielding restricted Salix to 166-7 and Australian batsman Frumar produced another influential knock to lead BECC to victory.

London Maccabi Vale’s promotion hopes were dealt a blow as they slipped to a 60-run defeat against St Albans in Chess Valley League Division Two.

Lying second in the table, a makeshift LMV team dismissed the visitors for 222 off 39.5 overs.

Rayno Greenwall-Cohen, Neil Lederman and Adam Brand claimed two wickets apiece.
