Five-star Goldman eases Manchester Maccabi to 11th consecutive league win

A five-goal blitz from Aaron Goldman boosted Maccabi’s title hopes as they extended their winning league streak to 11 games, turning around a half-time deficit to defeat Urmston Meadowside.

In what can only be described as a game of two halves, Maccabi huffed and puffed in the first half, but just could not breach the Meads’ defence.

The visitors took the lead midway through the first half and if it was not for Maccabi's goalkeeper, Jack Showman, they would have been two or three up.
