North London Raiders A cleaning up most weeks is becoming something of a pattern in MGBSFL season 2015/16.
On Matchday 18 they won Player of the Week, Manager of the Week, Save of the Week, had a couple of boys in my Team of the Week, and now Quote of the Week, noch.
While the snow kept many teams in bed, ROB RICHMAN told JC Sport: "It was great to be able to get the game played. We had the unfortunate situation of our original pitch being called off at 10.00am and with the Manchester Maccabi squad two hours into their journey it was imperative we sorted an alternative pitch. Somehow we secured a back up pitch and redirected the Manchester side to Capital City for a really competitive cup tie. We wish Manchester well, they are an excellent side and we hope they go on to secure the league title this season"

BEST OF THE REST
- DARYL KAY (Woodford) - "You can probably guess what happened, but if you can't, we were once again 2-0 up and we ended up drawing 2-2. There's no-one to blame except ourselves really. Individual and team errors keep costing us, and hopefully next week with more than just 11 players we can change things about because clearly what we're doing, and the players doing it, isn't and aren't working"
- JON ISON (Los Blancos) - "Before the game we would have taken a point, with a depleted squad of 12, including two debutants - one being our keeper - and one player who hadn't featured at all since pre-season due to injury. However, we were really good value for the draw and it was the very least we deserved"
- JONATHAN ADELMAN (NL Raiders B) - "All season long we've struggled to get a viable XI on the pitch and it seems part of a wider malaise in Jewish football. I fear if that malaise is not addressed with some genuinely creative initiatives, this could be the last generation of 11-a-side Jewish Sunday league football - and that would be a terrible shame"
- ROB RICHMAN (NL Raiders A) - QUOTE 1 - "It was great to be able to get the game played. We had the unfortunate situation of our original pitch being called off at 10.00am and with the Manchester Maccabi squad 2 hours into their journey it was imperative we sorted an alternative pitch. Somehow we secured a back up pitch and redirected the Manchester side to Capital City for a really competitive cup tie. We wish Manchester well, they are an excellent side and we hope they go on to secure the league title this season"
- ROB RICHMAN (NL Raiders A) - QUOTE 2 - "Since the November 1 we have conceded one goal from open play and today even without our first choice centre back pairing from the start of the season we looked so solid and resolute"
- RAY ABRAHAMS (Scrabble FC) - "To have a 16-point lead at this stage of the season says so much for the camaraderie, spirit and atmosphere in the squad at the moment and when you're winning like this the games can't come quickly enough"
