Danny Caro's Prem Div Team of the Season

While Liron Mannie stole the show at the MGBSFL awards this week, some of his teammates and leading lights from the division have been recognised for consistently outstanding performances in season 2014/15

1. RUSSELL CORIN (Hendon A) - Safe Hands Russ won the Golden Gloves award after arguably his finest season yet, and that was playing with a dodgy knee he had surgery on this week. David Garbacz "cannot recall a single mistake all season – easily the most consistent goalkeeper in the league and has produced brilliant performances". Pulled off some ridiculous saves and was a key player in the team's success defence of the Morrison Trophy

2. ROB SANFORD (FC Team A) - "and I can comfortably say FC Teams best player and the best centre-back in the league. The 6ft 5" giant never puts a step wrong, leads the team by example and every striker hates playing against him"

3. BEN SOLLOSI (Redbridge A) - Former MGBSFL Young Player of the Season was a reliable and "important" member of the team who contributed goals against Raiders and Hendon"

4. JUSTIN SPIRO (NL Raiders A) - "in and out the side last year, this year arguably first name on the teamsheet. 17 appearances, 10 clean sheets speaks for itself. Amazingly calm and seems never troubled at the back. Could and probably should be nominated every single week he plays. The model of consistency. He has started 10 games this season at centre back and in seven of those games we did conced a goal"

5. ADAM SHAFRON (Redbridge A) - "faultless week after week, conceding one goal in two games over new year against Raiders and Hendon. Stand-out performer"

6. LIRON MANNIE (NL Raiders A) - MGBSFL Player of the Year. NLR boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "Liron has everything as a footballer. Amazingly skilful and talented but also has the most wonderful work-rate, never stops running. 21 starts 13 goals and over 15 assists"

7. AVI KORMAN (Hendon Utd SC A) - "sensational all year – has played in central midfield, full-back and central defence and is always one of our top performers wherever he plays. Scored some absolute crackers as well and is always the first name on the team sheet. Must be a top contender for either player or young player of the year"

8. DAVID SEITLER (Hendon Utd SC A) - "burst on to the scene this year – scored over 15 goals in as many games including two in the Morrison final. The most talented player I’ve seen in the last few years. Typical stroppy teenager but fantastic to have around!"

9. JOHNNY HAIK (Faithfold A) - his goals and work-rate spoke volumes about his character in a team that struggled

10. JAMES GERSHFIELD (Harmen) - "the striker and club captain was our stand-out player this year. If we needed someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck and create chances out of nothing then Gersh would be the man. Passionate about every game whether it was a cup game against a bottom division team or a game against one of the top teams in our division"

11. MATT STOCK (NL Raiders A) - "best player in the league, 14 games 15 goals. Electric quick, brilliantly skilful, has enjoyed playing more centrally this season"
