Danny Caro's Division 3 Team of the Season - The Jewish Chronicle

Teams raised the bar sky high in season 2014/15 when London Rovers took the plaudits, while Adam Ellis and Avi Markiewicz gave defences the run-around

1. SCOTT SHEAR (Real Sosobad) - won our his club's Players' Player of the Year and "has been an incredible asset". His boss, Dan Shafron, rates him as "one of the best goalkeepers in the entire MGBSFL and has led the team with his enthusiasm, commitment and will to win"

2. YOSSI LANNING (King Crown) - another big factor why Crown featured at the top of the division for so long. An absolute collusus

3. JONNY GAHAN (Faithfold B) - "always gives his manager and the team 110 per cent. "Has come on in leaps and bounds over the last two seasons and has turned into one of the leaders on the pitch. Rob Shooman knows he "will have to fight my A Team next season to keep him"

4. PARYS HAMMOND (London Rovers) - "The defensive master-class. If anyone wanted to learn how to defend properly they should have watched Parys this season. Putting his body on the line for the sake of winning the ball, I'm surprised he's still alive the amount of times he's been kicked in the head and face. The kind of player you are relieved to have in your team. He's had an incredible season and at times played like he was 20 again. A big reason why Rovers kept eight clean sheets out of 17 in the league this season

5. DAN LOWEN (Faithfold B) - "one of the more experienced players in the team, Rob Shooman "had to persuade him to keep playing in the MSFL and not go into the Masters. He shows natural leadership through his talking and encouragement to his team mates and his total commitment during the game". Played in virtually every position, except in the forward line, even in goal. He "never moans and just gets on with it. A manager's delight"

6. JAMES LAW (Real Sosobad) - won the club's Player of the Year award. He was "superb gaining 12 assists and not a single team in the league could handle his pace and attacking flair"

7. JOSH BHARIER (London Rovers) - "in his first season playing senior 11-a-side football, Josh has scored 15 goals from central midfield, including a hat-trick on his debut. He has got better and better as the season went on and has everything in his game. Hard tackling, finishing, pace and energy. Was the match-winner for a number of games this season including the title winning match against Faithfold B. Josh is the future of Jewish football"

8. SACHA NUSENBAUM (King Crown) - put in some scintillating performances and was desperately unlucky not to finish with a promotion medal

9. ADAM ELLIS (Shacharit Donetsk) - Golden Boot winner and star man in Division Three of the MGBSL. he just couldn't be stopped. A great player, fantastic finisher and could play for any team in the Prem

10. AVI MARKIEWICZ (London Rovers) - "Joined a few games into the season and set the league on fire with hat-trick after hat-trick. I was looking for a striker with specific abilities, not just goals but a team player who can gel with the other players and Avi did just that. It is safe to say that Rovers are not a one man team by a long way and Avi has had incredible service this season but he still had to put them away and he did that with class. If Avi isn't scoring, he's working for the team and involved in assisting his team mates. I wouldn't be surprised if this was Avi's best ever season"

11. BARRY GREEN (Real Sosobad) - Mr Reliable hit a purple patch at an important time of the season to ensure the east Londoners finished above the likes of King Crown and Faithfold B
