The decision to award Jake Gilbert the top goal accolade from Matchday 6 of the MGBSFL season was reached in record time.
The former Athletic Bilbaum star was the hat-trick hero in an impressive win over SPEC FC, and manager Jonathan Adelman told me his special strike was worthy of the admission fee alone. It has supporters from both teams on their feet applauding - it was that special.
A delighted Adelman described it as "an absolute worldy" bicycle kick from a Ben Sheldon cross.
SPEC FC joint-manager Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: "Jake second goal was worthy of winning any game. It was genuinely the best goal I've seen in Jewish football."

BEST OF THE REST
- GAB SAUL (Hendon B) - resh off a wonderful free-kick the previous week, Saul produced another moment of magic, hitting a peach of a free-kick high into the Boca net to claim all three points
- YOEL DEAL (King Crown) - a lovely move with Deal and Adam Nusenbaum playing a glorious one-two, with Nusenbaum back-healing the ball in the box to Deal who latched on to it and smashed in the back of the net
- DOVI VOGEL (London Rovers) - GOAL 1 - a fantastic finish over the keeper after a great pass from Josh Bharier
- JESS ALEXANDER (Jewdinese) - his goal was truly sensational, a right-foot volley from 30 yards into the top right corner
- DANIEL PIKE (SPEC FC) - a super 25-yard free-kick
- JOEY LAZARE (Harmen) - the Manchester-born striker made it three goals in three off the bench - finishing in the top corner from the edge of the area when others would have blasted over
