Goals from Max Kyte and Danny Daggers kept alive Lions' hopes of a top three finished as they edged past Raiders at Brunel.

In a very tight game, Lions just edged it to take all three points. Raiders would have felt frustrated not to get something out of the game, but it was Lions back five that probably made the difference, especially the phenomenal performance from keeper Jake Doffman, and the outstanding David Nezri at centre half.

Lions had much of the first 20 minutes of the game, although they never looked comfortable. With half an hour gone, Yoav Lebens was pulled down in the box, and referee Warwick Blake had an easy decision to make. Kyte stepped up and clinically slotted home from the spot to take a 1-0 lead into half time.
