The second half saw AC Whetstone take a two-goal lead. Julius Judah came off the bench near the end to flick the ball over the Whetstone keeper, but Whetstone held firm.
Whetstone joint-manager Clive Nathan told JC Sport: "Clearly Shabbat UK had the desired effect on our team! The boys came out raring to go and despite going a goal behind made numerous chances.
"We really could have had a hatful of goals today, but Bilbaum are a good side from a higher division so we are delighted to win by any score."
Bilbaum joint-manager Julius Judah told JC Sport: "We struggled to get out of the blocks today. AC Whetstone played very well and deserved a win. Their midfielder Rob Cohen had a fantastic game.
"We can now concentrate on the league and hopefully continue the fine form we displayed earlier in the season."
