But Furman, along with fellow triallist Giles Coke, will remain without a club for now due to the Blackburn's financial constraints.
Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer said: "Unfortunately they've been with us and obviously we had to come to a decision.
"We've made the decision not to go with either of them due to the restrictions that we're under.
"They're very similar to players that we already have but the pair of them have been fantastic.
"If the circumstances had been different for us then it might have been different for them."
