The game was as tight as the score line suggests, with both teams battling to take the points. Brady took the lead after five minutes, when Zach Sampson latched on to a through ball and drilled the ball low into the net from close range and they held their lead until half-time.
Cassiobury equalised early in the second half from a set-piece. In a hard-fought half, Brady’s keeper Charlie Cohen kept his team in the game with an outstanding save, turning away a shot heading high into the corner of the goal.
After his efforts were rewarded as Brady regained the lead on 61 minutes, the ball broke again to man-of-the-match Sampson, who rounded the Cassiobury keeper before calmly slotting home Brady’s second.
In the final minutes, Cassiobury drew level from another set-piece, an in-swinging corner kick that was bundled over the line.
