Maccabi GB hastaken another stride in supporting Jewish football by becoming the
official partner of the Maccabi Junior Football League (MJFL).

The partnership will see the league become the Maccabi GB Junior
Football League (MGBJFL).

In addition, Maccabi GB will
provide support to the MGBJFL
committee including, administration, registration and marketing and
communications opportunities. They will also provide Jewish, informal
education content, marking the uniqueness of the League and MGB's connection with it.

The MGBJFL is the largest football league for Jewish players aged 11 and under in Europe and will see a
fantastic 55 teams from Under 7-11
compete in this season, including two new clubs who have been formed
specifically to join the league.

Maccabi Junior Primary League chairman Laurence Thorne said: "We are thoroughly delighted to be able to welcome Maccabi GB as a partner of the MJFL and we look forward to
building a strong bond between the two organisations.

"With more than 500 players
registered to play it is clear that Jewish football at grassroots is thriving. All our games will be covered by qualified referees and, although the FA have deemed our age groups as 'non-competitive', we expect the usual
standards of quality and fair play."

The partnership of the MJFL is the second in recent seasons by MGB,
having become a sponsor of the
Maccabi GB Southern Football League for Jewish men's teams in 2013.
