The England contingent regained the Pesach Cup - which they had lost last year on penalties - with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over a strong Israeli Olim team.

Played under the floodlights at Wingate Stadium Netanya, the England team was led by David Garbacz and Edward Misrahi, the visitors, who featured a blend of youth and experience, took the Olim XI by surprise.

A team featuring Dan Jacobs, Danny daggers and Yoav Lebens offered a solid spine, combining with 16 and 17-year-old talent, including Zachary Garbacz Max Mizrahi and Daniel Friedman plus some other talented MSFL regulars.

And it was the visiting team who forged ahead early on through Lebens after a well-worked free-kick routine practiced on Hertzliyah beach and they controlled the game until the Olim equalised following a contentious decision where it looked like their forward had fouled Joel Barnett. Despite that setback England responded well and substitute Elliot Moslawy put the Brits ahead with a well-taken goal just before half-time.
