Brady, not deterred, carried on playing their own game and this was soon repaid when Ziff superbly controlled a cross before excellently volleying home with his weaker foot, certainly not a finish most would associate with a centre back.
Soon after Brady were in the lead, Harrod curling a 20-yard screamer into the top corner leaving the goalkeeper grounded.
The game was quickly wrapped up. Great teamwork culminated in a cool finish from Newman. And with 10 minutes left and the game all but dead, Mogilner had to get his name on the scoresheet doing so in bizarre fashion, straight from a corner, one the dubious goals panel will most certainly investigate. A great start to the season for Brady.
Manager Josh Dagul told JC Sport "The boys did exactly what we went there to do. It may not have been the greatest performance but we have the three points."
Henry Ziff commented: "I'm absolutely delighted to start my Brady career with a goal and three points. One team, one dream."
Disappointed Chigwell boss Richard Slater told JC Sport: "Brady are a very good side, and overall deserved the win, but yet again we have given a team a helping hand with at least two of their goals.
"We played well in patches. especially for the first 15 minutes of second half, and scored a great goal, but to collapse the way we did in a 10-minute spell isn't good enough. But it's still early days and a long long way to go."
