The British Friends of ZAKA is honoured to invite friends and supporters visiting Israel this week to attend the dedication ceremony of four Rapid Response motorcycles to the humanitarian volunteer organization, donated by British resident Mr. Joseph Kiersz and family.
The motorcycles, all equipped with life-saving medical equipment, will join ZAKA’s national fleet, saving lives at accidents on the road and in the home and at terror attacks or other emergency incidents.
The ZAKA paramedics in the Rapid Response Motorcycle Unit have saved thousands of lives over the years, thanks to their ability to weave through traffic and reach the emergency scene within minutes, often before other emergency services arrive.
The dedication ceremony will take place at the Renaissance Hotel, 121 Hayarkon Street, Tel Aviv on Friday, 27 August at 10 am in the presence of the Kiersz family, Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv Yisrael Meir Lau and ZAKA Chairman and Founder Yehuda Meshi-Zahav.
