Big-screen beauty Natalie Portman has split from her folk singer boyfriend Devendra Banhart. The actress, who has now turned her hand to a bit of film directing too, has been feeling rather anti-marriage lately. She has admitted: "I'm into monogamy. But I'm not really into marriage... What does the state have to do with it?" Maybe that outburst wasn't too helpful for the relationship. The pair had got together after the Star Wars actress featured in the folk rocker's video, Carmensita, in March.
Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson have patched up their differences, and are once again collaborating, this time on a track to appear on a Quincy Jones tribute album. It's the first time the dynamite duo have worked together since their ill-fated attempt at recording the theme tune for the new Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. An insider told The Sun: "It's going to be explosive stuff. Amy first met Quincy backstage at the Nelson Mandela gig in Hyde Park in June. He knew who she was and she was thrilled to meet him. Her performance clearly impressed him - he was raving about her. This is just the opportunity she needs to show the world she has still got it."
Katie Price has never been one to bite her tongue. During an appearance on ITV2's game show Keith Lemon's Celebrity Juice, hosted by comedian Leigh Francis, she launched into a tirade about podgy Radio One DJ Chris Moyles. She made her disgust at how Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts has been hurt by his remarks about her more than clear. Madonna was spotted taking her adopted Malawian son, David, to the Kabbalah Centre for Rosh Hashanah. The three-year-old was dressed all in white, and sported a white kippah. The pop star has declared that she wants to bring up her youngest son as a follower of Kabbalah but that he is free to follow Christianity (like his biological father) when he's older. The Daily Mail quoted her as saying: "I believe in Jesus and I study the Kabbalah, so I don't see why he can't too. If David decides he wants to be a Christian, then so be it."

Pink, real name Alecia Moore, has spoken for the first time of her heartbreak after splitting from her husband, motorcross racer Carey Hart. The pair separated earlier this year after two years of marriage, and Moore has found a way of dealing with her pain. "I'm very lucky that I can write how I feel and put it into music otherwise I would be a mental patient by now," she told the Daily Mirror. The singer reached number one this week with her new single, So What, which she says is about "anger, frustration [and] heartbreak".
