PaJeS, the Jewish schools network, has promoted Raisel Freedman and Sharon Radley jointly to the post of assistant director.

Ms Freedman, currently director of public affairs, will take responsibility for public affairs and operations, while Ms Radley, director of education, will lead the educational side of the organisation. Samantha Benson remains as director of leadership programmes.

The post of assistant director has been vacant since the untimely death of Lady Winston late last year.

The new assistant directors said they had “many exciting projects on the horizon and look forward to leading this vital work”.
