Five Jewish schools have made the Sunday Times list of top 500 English state primary schools this year.
King David Junior School in Manchester ranked the highest, at number 121, with another Manchester school, North Cheshire Jewish Primary, close behind at 129.
Sacks Morasha was the best-placed London school at joint 148, with North-West London Jewish Day at joint 170 and Hasmonean Primary at joint 469.
The entries were based on overall scores for Sats in reading, maths and grammar taken by year-six students in 2016 (the Department for Education’s own website did not publish results for grammar).
