Nancy Reuben, the independent Sephardi primary school in Hendon, has bounced back after a critical inspection report three years ago. After a return visit, Ofsted has now classified it as a “good school”.
The positive appraisal follows the arrival of new headteacher Anthony Wolfson in April, followed by his deputy , Shelley Cohen, this term.
Mr Wolfson welcomed a “great result for the school. The rapid improvement and turnaround in such a very short space of time is credit to the staff, the children and the governing body.”
Ofsted said the head, ably supported by his deputy, had “worked effectively with leaders, staff and parents to bring about rapid improvements. As a result, all of the independent school standards are met.”
