Charedi school praised for promoting responsible citizenship

An independent Charedi girls primary school in London was commended by Ofsted for its “outstanding” programme for the personal development of pupils.

Bnos Beis Yaakov in Kingsbury was ranked good overall for the third successive inspection.

Much of the content of its personal development programme was “integral to Jewish studies, covering themes such as respectful relationships, different faiths and cultures and being responsible citizens,” Ofsted said.

“Pupils have a wealth of opportunities to put this learning into practice in special events, educational trips and projects.
