Beit Shvidler was due to start interviewing candidates to replace headteacher tRabbi Jonny Spector, who is leaving at the end of term after six years in charge of the Edgware primary.

He has been recruited as executive headteacher of the Agora Learning Partnership, a multi-academy trust consisting of nine primary schools in Hertfordshire.

He felt “ready for a new challenge”, he said.

Formerly at Rosh Pinah, he became head of Beit Shvidler in summer 2017 shortly after it received a critical report from Ofsted judging it to “require improvement”. In less than two years, he led its return to recognition as a “good” school.
