The thrill of The Chase proved expensive for Norwood as it missed out on a £100,000 windfall in a celebrity edition of the ITV show.
Jonathan Ross — who will be hosting Norwood’s “annual dinner reimagined” next week — was the last contestant standing, taking £100,000 with him into the final round. Despite answering 18 questions, the Chaser known as the Vixen, Jenny Ryan, beat his total with 20 seconds to spare.
Ross came away with £1,000, which he told host Bradley Walsh he would donate to Norwood as it “does amazing work for people with learning disabilities or autism”
