Through a new partnership with JLGB and Hasmonean, eight teenage boys from Youth Aliyah's youth village in northern Israel visited the UK to participate in a Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition alongside Hasmonean pupils. They navigated the Hertfordshire countryside to reach their camp-site, where they pitched tents and cooked on camp stoves.

The youth village boys were selected because of their involvement in the International Youth Award (Israel) and received certificates from Youth Aliyah life president Ella Latchman at a reception at Hampstead Garden Suburb Synagogue later in the week.
