Brandon Hamme dedicated Mill Hill Dons' derby day victory to their fans as the JC Manager of the Week struck again as Boca were brought back down to earth in a 3-1 defeat.
Boca started in good fashion, dominating the early possession and chances, but it was the Dons opened the scoring with a beautiful strike by Adam Diamond just inside the area found the top corner of the net - the Boca keeper was stranded, a true goal of the week candidate.
The Dons doubled their lead with a strike equally as good as this time Richard Hayim took the ball from deep and went on a superb run beating several men and finished well.
Boca then scored after a clearance from a corner found Anton Nyman who scrambled the ball home. That led the onslaught before Boca started to show the desire of last week and do the comeback all over.
But the Dons went on to secure all three points after Zach Cohen was fouled inside the area, Adam Isaacs cooly put the ball past the keeper from the penalty spot for his third goal of the season.
MHD boss Brandon Hamme told JC Sport: "We're absolutely buzzing about the win, the boys battled to the death and we got the three points we deserved.
"Credit to Boca Jewniors, they were no pushovers and we are sure they will give us another good game back at our place in a few weeks time.
"We dedicate the win to the fans, we know how much the Mill Hill Derby means to them and their support in this game and the whole season has been incredible.
"It's a huge three points that leaves us within touching distance of the promotion places, we have looked like a different team in recent weeks and we can head into any game feeling like we can pick up a result."
Boca's Anton Nyman told JC Sport: "Unfortunately our one game winning run was brought to an abrupt end in Mill Hill."
