Leeds United Hebrew Congregation president Jonathan Rose has been appointed a circuit judge and will sit in criminal, family and civil courts at Bradford Combined Courts Centre. Mr Rose, 49, was called to the Bar in 1981 and in 2000 was appointed a recorder; two years later he was made a legal member of Mental Health Review Tribunals.
