International development charity Tzedek had people in a spin in Euston as it highlighted the challenges faced by women in poor countries.
Its "Missfortune" event, organised in conjunction with fellows of Tony Blair's Faith Foundation, involved passers-by being invited to turn a "wheel of fortune", higlighting gender inequality.
More than 250 people spun the wheel, whose sections offered information about the typical lifestyle of women from different countries.
Organisers also distributed postcards carrying details on initiatives geared towards improving the lives of women.
