A Leeds tourist attraction has been linked with two local benefactors. Tropical World, part of Roundhay’s Canal Gardens, has been renamed the “Arnold and Marjorie Ziff Tropical World”.
Civic heads were among 80 guests and Ziff family members who watched Marjorie Ziff, widow of Arnold, unveil a commemorative flagstone. In his tribute to the couple, who had helped with the launch of the Canal Gardens venture, deputy council leader Andrew Carter said he was delighted to express the city’s thanks.
