More than 500 guests attended the Holocaust Education Trust’s 30th anniversary dinner this week, including politicians and celebrities.
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair , Home Secretary Sajid Javid, and Education Secretary Damian Hinds all gave speeches, as did Susan Pollack, a Holocaust survivor.
The dinner raised more than £1,000,000 to support the trust’s work in schools, universities, and in the community, to raise awareness and understanding of the Holocaust. It provides teacher-training, an outreach programme for schools, teaching aids and resource material.
