More than 300 guests at Mill Hill Synagogue pitted their wits at a supper quiz to support employment advice centre Resource.
It was Resource's largest fundraising event - and a record £10,000 was raised towards the charity's free support, guidance and training programmes to help unemployed members of the community throughout the country get back into the workplace.
Chief executive Victoria Sterman said: "More people than ever have come to know about the invaluable work we do for the community and are keen to support us.
"We help around 70 people seeking work or aiming to set up in business every week and over 60 per cent go on to find employment."
