More than 90 communal rabbis and university chaplains attended the pre-festivals conference, organised by the Office of the Chief Rabbi at St John's Wood Synagogue.
A full programme of briefings and working sessions was supplemented by addresses from Sir Jonathan Sacks and Rabbi Shraga Feivel Zimmerman of the Gateshead community and shiurim from London Beth Din dayanim.
Sir Jonathan commented: "This was an outstanding conference, attended by a remarkably impressive group of rabbis, fully committed to lead with inspiration in the coming year."
