Nottingham Students raised more than £1,000 for World Jewish Relief by staging a race night.

The Young WJR student committee welcomed more than 150 people to the event, held at the city's Coco Lounge bar.

Partygoers received betting tokens to gamble on horse races shown on a big screen.

The eight gamblers with the best record at the end of the night shared a prize pot worth more than £150.
