Scarlett Johansson may not have set the date yet for marriage to actor Ryan Reynolds, but plans for the dress are well advanced. At least, that’s what Stella McCartney is hoping. The celebrity fashion designer — and daughter of Sir Paul McCartney — is desperate to be the one to create Johansson’s wedding ensemble, and already has a particular look in mind. Strangely, that look involves a lot of black latex, which she believes would be perfect for the occasion. McCartney, who designed Madonna’s dress when she wed Guy Ritchie in 2000, says: “I’m definitely doing her wedding dress — but she doesn’t know it yet. I am thinking of some kind of dodgy, black thing. Latex!”

Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan has been telling of his experiences at Sir Alan Sugar’s big bash to celebrate 40 years of marriage to wife Ann. Morgan’s account of the occasion, which featured in The Mail on Sunday, revealed an example of the Sugar wit. Apparently, the tycoon was reminiscing about the time he sent his wife a birthday card, signing it “Best wishes, Sir Alan Sugar”. His excuse for writing in such a formal way was that it had been a “busy day in the office”. He then went on to explain: “I apologised and ran through loads of things I could buy her to make up for my mistake. Do you want a new dress I asked? No. A new watch? No. A car? No.” Sir Alan told of how she angrily snapped that she wanted “a bloody divorce”. He recalled his reaction: “Sorry, I wasn’t thinking of spending that much.”

In a bizarre outburst, Sarah Jessica Parker has said the attention she gets from photographers following her makes her feel cheap. The Sex And The City star, currently promoting the movie based on the TV show, which premiered in London this week, has said that “thug” snappers following her have left her feeling troubled. “I feel like I’m like the town trollop. It makes me feel ashamed of my work. And I’m not. But I’m attached to this culture now in a way that it’s kind of vulgar. And I feel cheapened.” Vulgar? Cheap? Don’t know about SJP, but the film doesn’t sound promising.

The Bound actress Gina Gershon got in shape for 1996 movie by beating up Bob Dylan in the gym. Her trainer introduced her to Dylan, who is a longtime closet boxer, and the pair slugged it out every Thursday until Gershon was ready to star in the raunchy movie. And she revealed she had the upper hand on the then-55-year-old singer-songwriter: “He’s small. We’re the same size… I caught him on the jaw. He went down like he was out cold. But, as he lay there, he said: ‘Just what I need. A good woman to kick my butt’.”
