Shul splits annual barbecue proceeds with Galil children's home

A children's home in the Galil will share with Watford Synagogue the £625 raised from the shul's fourth annual barbecue. Sixty members attended and chairman Brian Levy had the winning ticket in the raffle for a meal for two at the Aviv restaurant in Edgware. Mr Levy returned the prize, only for his wife Esther's ticket to be the next one drawn.
