Burning Scrolls and Flying Letters, by Dov Schidorsky, just published in Israel, is a similarly unusually detailed and devoted piece of Holocaust literature, showing that the Nazis did not simply burn Jewish books but, as Gish Amit, reviewing the book in Ha'aretz, writes, they "actually fought for control of Jewish collections and the right to establish anti-Jewish museums".
