The battle to be the next president of the Union of Jewish Students is already under way, just a month into the new academic year.
The nomination process has been launched by UJS, with campaigning due to begin on November 19 and voting to be completed by December 16, when the result will be announced at the UJS annual conference.
Candidates will be allocated budgets to be spent on costs including travelling to campuses, promotional literature and a compulsory campaign video.
Current president Alex Green will end his year in office during the summer of 2013.
To stand as president download an application form on the UJS website, secure 10 nominations and submit the form before November 14.
