Nicki Marks raised £1,500 for World Jewish Relief by hosting a Pampered Chef event — a “show and tell” method of selling kitchen products. Fifty women joined her and a Pampered Chef consultant for a cooking demonstration, lunch and a raffle. WJR fundraising head Paul Stein, who also attended, commended the host on “an original event which epitomises some of the objectives of the WJR’s new initiative, The Big Hand”.
