Many may disagree with Rhea Wolfson's support for Jeremy Corbyn, or her assertion that he "represents" a much-needed change in society.

But the new Jewish member of Labour's National Executive Committee makes some other points which are harder to ignore - not least that the Jewish community is made up of disparate opinions, and many feel that theirs are not represented.

We are not homogenous - as any Friday-night dinner discussion will demonstrate - and have wide-ranging political views.

It would be wise if no one asssumed they spoke for us all.
