We have, unfortunately, had cause too often in recent months to report examples of antisemitism.
But we have not previously been direct witnesses. This week, however, our reporter Rosa Doherty was on a bus next to a man screaming all sorts of abuse. And the response of the authorities was both instructive and worrying.
The police appeared unwilling to rouse themselves - although they have since apologised - and Transport for London could not even be bothered to respond to a complaint about their driver's behaviour. So much for zero tolerance of racism.
