A revolting post by Peter Preston on Comment is Free, His theme is that, unlike our wonderful media, the American media are Israeli propagandists:
In general, with the New York Post, the Daily News and all the usual suspects cheerleading away, there was no balance, no fairness and precious little you could call independent thought.
Let's, for a second, accept his premise. Why might it be that the American media are thus?
Tel Aviv seemed to bark orders: the US media just wagged its tail.
Ah, yes, of course, those Jews. They run everything, and control the media.
Peter Preston and the BNP. Joined at the 'Jews run the media' hip.
It would never occur to the likes of Peter Preston that the American media might simply be more willing to take a rounded virew of the Middle East, and accept that Israel has a right to defend itself.
