I'm watching William Hague's speech on BBC News. They have just cut away from it, so that we can have Emily Maitlis tell us that the Tories don't want to talk about Europe.
Yet as Ms Maitlis is telling us that the Tories don't want to speak about Europe, William Hague is speaking specifically about Europe. But we can't hear him speak - about Europe - because they have cut to Emily Maitlis telling us that the Tories don't want to speak about Europe.
