Wonderful diva Maria Friedman is taking her cabaret show to the Trafalgar Studios in London later this month. Maria Friedman - Re-arranged, which premiered at the Chocolate Factory last March, features an 11-piece band and a long list of songs by, among others, Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Jerry Herman, Michel Legrand and Friedman's long-standing friend and mentor Stephen Sondheim. But, surprisingly, no Andrew Lloyd Webber, in whose show, The Woman In White, Friedman starred in the West End and on Broadway. Until now, that is - Friedman has included one of his songs, called appropriately, As If We Never Said Goodbye, in her West End show.
