Ten rock-throwing protesters were arrested after the c ity c ouncil banned spectators from the event because they said they could not secure the area.
Later in 2009 a Swedish journalist accused the IDF of killing Palestinian youths to harvest their organs.
Fred Kahn, president of Sweden’s Jewish community, said: “It’s incredibly sad that this should happen again.
“We thought we were finished with this sort of thing.”
The incident happened just days after the discovery of antisemitic graffiti at Greece’s Jewish Museum. Vandals in Athens had daubed red swastikas on the walls of the museum .
Last week in Poland the words “Jews out” were sprayed onto the Warsaw gravestone of Irena Sendler, a non-Jewish woman who saved thousands of children during the Holocaust.
