Singer Selena Gomez, 32, is getting married to record producer Benny Blanco, 36, and the pair have detailed the Jewish traditions they will be including in the ceremony.
The couple shared the plans for their upcoming nuptials with People Magazine. Blanco, who is Jewish, has said that "of course" they will be having a hora at the wedding.
And Gomez, who was raised Christian is all for embracing the Jewish side of things, having celebrated Hannukah with her fiancé last year.
In the interview, Blanco spoke about how he is all for Gomez sticking to her faith and he doesn't believe having two different religions in the house will negatively affect any future children at all. He said: "We want our kids to have both of our values, both of our morals and hopefully when we mix them up in a pot they’ll –"
"Turn out good," said Gomez, finishing his sentence.
But the star has said that, despite being lifted up on a chair in the dance at the wedding, she has no plans of converting.
She added: "I don’t think I’ll be doing that," before adding: "Not that it’s bad."
The pair are reportedly set to tie the not at a two-day wedding in Montecito, California this September, though no date has been announced.
The event is expected to attract a host of celebrity guests, with pop star Taylor Swift and her partner, NFL player Travis Kelce, said to be on the list.
Gomez has publicly embraced Blanco's Jewish heritage in the past. They started dating in June 2023 and celebrated the first night of Hanukkah together in 2024.
Last Christmas (their first since getting engaged), the couple attended a festive party in New York held by songwriter and fellow Jewish celbrity Benj Pasek.
Guests included actor Debra Messing, comedian Judy Gold and chef Jake Cohen.
Cohen posted a photo of the group on Instagram joking: "Some lonely Jews on Christmas getting lit."
And, in one clip, Blanco was on the dancefloor doing the hora to Hava Nagila.
Indeed, Jewish identity has long been at the forefront of Blanco's career.
It was when he attended Camp Airy, a Jewish summer camp in Thurmont, Maryland, that he worked on the radio station Ebba Ebba, an experience he said shaped him as a performer.
